I have been considering switching to light grey on all of my engines from now on. It shows leaks well, and makes the whole area a little bit brighter. If you ever see an old street rod with a black and white firewall, you know the effect I'm talking about.
Sounds strange, but after years of...
I think Gear Vendors still has one for RVs that would do what you want.
Worth the expense and hassle? Not to me.
To each their own, but nobody here has gone down this road after doing the research IIRC.
You can run 46" 395/85r20s on stock rims without flipping the hubs or spreading the tandems... How much bigger you want to go?!
As for mileage, you will be dropping about 1000lbs and some rolling resistance. But, if you plan on running crap fuel that won't matter anyway. WMO/Veggie/etc all have...
Just a matter of taste. I admit, I thought about it for a few seconds. But after seeing more "bobbers" I can't stand looking at them. Kinda like M35A3s... the more I see them, the more they just look butt-ugly and wrong.
I'm sure some guys think stock A2's look like something only grandpa...
Going by the test data at Bobistheoilguy, Delo actually has more of the "good" additives wear inhibitors than even Rotella. But both are considered neck-and-neck for quality.
Check their tests out. For most lube questions, it's the best place on the net for unbiased info.
Hope it helps.
It still has the safety wire over the smoke screw... at least it wasn't cranked up and beat like a mule in that regard.
I wouldn't go over $4000. Start at $3k.
I love looking at G's metalwork and engineering. Jesse, you're no slouch yourself.
Such well thought out and crafted machines are works of art. Thank you both for sharing so many.
In that situation where you can't reach any other welder... yes. I could see the readywelder as justified.
But only for sheetmetal.
If you have to weld suspension/frame/rim/plate or anything thicker than about 3/16, I would say you were better off with a DC stick weld running off the...
I'm certain if you're good enough, and willing to make enough passes, you could weld a battleship with a Harbor Freight flux gun. :)
(I think that's what the Chinese are trying with their new Aircraft Carrier.)
If you already have a small wire welder, you have a machine that's better than this. The benefit of the ReadyWelder is portability, not quality of the bead or the thickness of the metal you can weld. I would be very surprised if it would weld anything the cheapest 110 wire rig couldn't.
My...
I'm going to join in the calls that it was oil out of the slobber tube and she chunked a piston up.
We got a pool going?
If I'm right, and the head isn't damaged by what happened, she might not be bad off. You'll know when you get the heads off.
Good luck man! Keep us posted and thanks for...
With the wheel held straight, the truck drifts under braking?
Whoa... I'm sorry I misunderstood.
If I'm reading this right, we are talking about fairly significant geometry changes. Front wear components seem to be ruled out.
I'm on board with the crushed line theory... but the same issue can be caused by a badly made flare or someone trying to use a ferrule fitting instead of making a proper double flare.
Might sound silly, but open both bleeders/lines and pump. I'm going to wager the slow side has significantly...
When you're talking about the amount of force a structure with that much mass can generate, you are going to be building a bridge girder. The weight would be enormous, and there would be no benefit in doing so.
A floating second frame would be massively lighter, and more capable off road/rough...
