    My Cab upgrades

Any numbers on those electric wipers? Or on the sound deadener you used? Beautiful job!

    Recovery next weekend...

I plan EVERYTHING when it comes to major purchases/hobbies. Sometimes I talk myself out of it and avoid bad decisions. I'm delayed a month... give or take. I'll just keep searching Youtube for new vids to get my fix like any other addict until my green crack arrives. :driver:

    Recovery next weekend...

I have enough on my plate with the farm to have no desire to get into the logging industry. If they had just needed a truck to haul a few dozen loads, and to drag some stuff around the half frozen woods... that's one thing. If they expect me to then buy all of the equipment, do 90% of the...

    Recovery next weekend...

Thanks. I am sinking my savings into the truck to make money with, it as much as to enjoy and do work on my own property. The whole logging deal was going to be my job. It has to earn it's keep, just like I do. I'm a full-time student again. After going through a divorce a year and a half...

    Dual circuit master cylinder

The dual circuit MC needs a different mount bracket, and you need a separate air pack for the second circuit. The air packs add pressure to the fluid directly, instead of boosting the pressure on the MC piston as vacuum or hyrdoboost systems do. So, adapter bracket, extra air pack, new MC...

The Military is starting to scare me...

Jumper cables are cheap... and they last almost forever. How much money will be made with the new expensive jump packs that last about a year? Seriously... follow the money.2cents

    Insane home Water/meth injection...

My purchase date was predicated upon work waiting on the truck that I could use to pay my bills. I turned down jobs because as soon as I picked up the truck, I (supposedly) had a guaranteed pile of work that would more than cover the truck, and a tidy profit. I now just need to go back to the...

    Insane home Water/meth injection...

I'm still waiting on my truck... I was supposed to be picking it up Saturday. I might be delayed a month. It's going to depend on my work schedule... Do you have the Keg? Also, how are your brakes?

    Recovery next weekend...

I'm hosed. Not happening... Again... I'm back to square one. He thinks he "might be able to get some stuff... " Work in hand... 2 days worth. But not support gear to even do it. Been here before. I hope to be able to right the apple cart and still grab the truck... but it won't be soon...

    Recovery next weekend...

No I don't. My associate was supposed to... that's the rub.

    Recovery next weekend...

I know... it's just frustrating. 3 years ago this would have been paid for in a month out of "Play" money. Now I get months of planning upended at the last minute. Meeting with my associate tomorrow... wish me luck. If I can't make at least $1000 a month with the truck, I'm going to have to...

    Recovery next weekend...

I'm waiting on the tax return, and a solid confirmation from this job.... Just playing the money game. Everything is crossed waiting for two bank deposits and a straight answer. I'm paying cash for the truck... so if the work falls through, the truck might as well. Or at least be delayed...

    Recovery next weekend...

Thanks guys. I have an electric winch on "The list"... but some of the US Army methods of using a cable wound to the duals to drag yourself out of a hole seems like a good idea in the meantime. My biggest concern at this point is "We just need a truck to haul them out and to the mill" seems to...

    Recovery next weekend...

So I am picking up my baby next weekend... I have tools, I'm taking fluids, she has been running all winter and has powerservice run through her. The seller has been using her to jump and air up other trucks and as general yard horse. Fullsize 6tl batteries are good and holding. (Solargizer...

Oshkosh Snow plow W/ frozen motor

I would get a head off and take a look at those cylinders before throwing that baby out with the bathwater. Seems like a long way to go without at least a tear down first.

M35A2 Camper Questions / General info

The days of the $2000 deuce worth fixing up are pretty long past. You might get lucky at $3000. You might hear of one on the other side of the country or a lucky win on GL for less... but these have gotten too popular, and steel is too valuable. $3000 is considered a very good deal right now.

    Truck lite LED headlamps

That should be in about a year... maybe two. Think about the LED flashlights that went from $50 to $5 almost overnight. If the Chinese are willing to send me stuff I can use in exchange for the worthless paper the Fed keeps printing, I would say we are winning. At least until they stop...
