The engine stop plunger was stuck in the "pulled" location or just the cable? If I read that correctly it was just the cable.
Do you have a fuel pressure testing gauge set available? I'm going to suggest pressure testing as-per TM of course... but my money is one the relief circuit in the...
The vast majority of theft I'm seeing and reading about is from scrap rats with torches, tools and trucks. If they come after your rig they won't need it running.... just time to cut and load.
Something to consider.
Think of it another way... funds are fungible as soon as the contractor gets them. If you are the US military... and you want to purchase something but may not want it on "The Books" for everyone to see... you might want the invoice to say "$3,000 ea for 10,000 aircraft screwdrivers, payable to...
You will run the propane at a much higher pressure than the acetylene. The regulators are NOT all compatible.
Some may tolerate it, some may not. Is it worth blowing up your house?
Your mileage may vary...
I only have my little mig and my Ar/CO2 mix tank for steel. But I'm never going to do aluminum with that set-up anyway. My dream shielding gas rig would be a CO2 tank and an Argon and a Helium each with regulator and flow meter so I could mix myself. But I need a TIG or a better MIG with a...
Why did you pick the front tandem? It would seem like the rear would be the one that would "Dig" if locked and the front would "Hop" as they swung on the arms.
How does the locker feel in the front? I know you have lock outs on that axle as well, so I know you won't have pavement issues, but...
We used to actually use waste freon... just a squirt from the liquid line. Not the best practice, and I doubt he has a recovery machine sitting there.
Alternate sources of near cryogenic liquid: Canned air for use in cleaning keyboards (turn the can upside down), freon cans, dry ice chunks, I...
Just heat it gently and if you have to try a HAND impact with a medium hammer. Even if it's JB weld, they will come free. Gentle heat and a chunk of dry ice from the grocery store can do wonders when you heat the boss and cool the plug/bolt.
Spec is very slightly toe-d "in"... When combined with road crown, you will only wear one of the two tires... probably the passenger, because you are always turned slightly "left." The rh wheel is the one being slightly scrubbed when you're traveling "straight".
The more it is toe-d in, the...
More than just camber could have caused that. Toe could have as well. And toe is far more likely.
Bite the bullet and either take it in, or get really creative with some boards, straps and a laser level. Camber is easy to diagnose , as is toe. Castor requires a "swing".
If you decide to check...
The oil boom in my area was in the late 1930s... these wells are still here, they just don't produce enough to interest most commercial activity. (Western Michigan... the "Bloomingdale" field.}
Considering we own our mineral rights, and it's less than 1500ft deep, I'm interested in options.
This is a thread I have been waiting for for quite some time!
Any option to drive off the impurities with heat in a fractional distillation?
What precautions can be used to capture/react the dihydrogen monosulfide? It's definitely flammable... but if my stoichiometry is correct... it would...
I'm still hoarding old halon extinguishers from the 1990s. The pressure reads good so they are my first choice for engine/electrical fires. But I keep a few ABC drys around as well. (I don't trust the old halon units 100%)
