It's a international CXT.....
Going to say this. Your truck looks good stock2cents Have you thought about geting a CUCV?
Could you piggy back another deuce cab like I saw on another members truck?
FYI that yellow sticker on the oil canister means the FDC was bypassed.
That most truck must have been in the artic. Fuel heater and I think there is alcohol evaporator on the air compressor.
I would preview, bad economy mean buyers have the power. Keep us updated this thread is very entertaining.
Any chance of you going into detail about repairing the loose air compressor belt? I would love to hear more on that. Mine has a little more play than I would like.
I think 2,000 would be a steal. I rolled the dice on GL and paid almost 3k.
I would drain the fuel filters and see what comes out.
Dito, bring fuild of each kind. A complete set of filters and belts, 5 new vent springs, put it in high dive home.
Be safe
It took me and a friend 8 hours. That was going slow and easy. It's not hard but the parts are heavy. Buy the front axle repair kit from OD Iron and lock washers for the bearings. Repack the bearings and buy 10 cans of brake cleaner.
FYI I did not fill my boots completly full of grease. Do you...
Ok, so if water is too heavy...we should all agree to jello. Hey did we factor in the ladies.....
This bring another idea for a party deuce. Put a hot tub in the back and use a bobcat welder generator. Then rollup the sides and back
Another reason to own a tactical M35A2
My flag is mount to the back of the truck came that way from the NG. This is the third time I have read not to fly it there.
Love the pool love it. Could add a scope of masonry sand and turn it into a beach.
Josh something is wrong. Find the step by step direction for the front axle seal repair. Either your king pins are worn out, bearings, or axle is bent. You can replace the boot and seal on one side in 4 hours and that's slow.
Seriously though the picture you posted make me concerned about that...
Driving is easy and turning is a workout.
Is it expensive? not really but it costs money to operate. Fuel, oil, filters, tires, parts.. Etc. I spend 100 a month. I replace any thing I think is broken or going to break.
Euc takes 60 ball park, GL holds the money and truck till it comes back clean.
Winches you could buy later, but it will cost more. I say if you want one get a w/w. Other here have added winches later so there is always a lot of info.
About the rust, mine has almost none. Others have not been...
I vote for soft top, hardtops are worth more. Do you need a winch?
Things to look for hmmmm......gear oil leaks, break fuild leaks, torn boots, batteries...I could go on and on. Find a member to go with you.
Dito, do the work yourself.:ditto:
last I saw w/on winch 1,500 and w/w 2,500 GL...
I got a quote from USAA in nov 1,200 to high called state farm 320 a year includes roadside assitance lol.
USAA just had so many questions...your driving what, m35 what's that's. State Farm asked for the vin, year, make, and model. I was impressed when I got the card, M35 1970 AM General no...
Your truck looks good, but I am not be fan of the sch 40 PVC. I would go the metal route.
Have you ran tubing from all the axles, tc, trans to the air filter box?
Are you planing on going into deep water?
I would buy ten cans of break cleaner, replace the seals, boots, repack the bearings, and change the gear oil call it a day.
Good photo's thanks for sharing:beer:
You need to replace all your vents axles trans transfer case. I had the same problem, axle vent clogged and blew the inner axle seal.
Buy a seal kit from OD Iron
download the step x step to replace the seals
I used 10 cans of brake cleaner
buy 2 new axle lock washers
took 7 hours for me and a...
