to me this does sound like the afterglow function on an earlier start box.
Just because it's a newer truck doesn't mean some schmuck in the motor pool didn't throw in whatever box they had on hand
isn't that just an M1101/M1102/LTT chassis?
it's the LTT (Light Tactical Trailer) chassis, the TM is TM 9-2330-392-14&P
Here is the link to it in the TMs section, it's the third from bottom, and the two MWO after it on the page are also for this series...
when polishing plastic, if you try to go too fast or push too hard (typically when using power tools) you can end up overheating and causing more damage than you are trying to fix. Just something to keep in mind if you get one of those drill attachment buffing pads or something like that.
either bracket fits, but the newer style that goes down to the block
is a lot stronger.
I posted this link earlier; it has the part numbers for the newer style bracket, as well as the part number for the bolt needed to install to the block. You can take that NSN or part number, search it...
For the wipers, mine started out on that side, then I switched it. After a few months I switched it back.
For me, having it parked on the driver's side helped keep the water running straight down the windshield out of my line of sight slightly longer due to the amount of Rain-X I use. That and...
value on these is a tricky thing.
There is kelley blue book on them.
Basic model older trucks can sell for between $6k and $18k, depending on location and condition.
As there is nothing special about your truck, but seems in decent condition, I'd say it's likely to bring in $10-14k open market...
the SEC12 24V
I plan to replace the steel cable with synthetic rope, and shorten it by 20 or more feet, and just keep an extension in the rig if I need it.
I sent MileMarker an email a couple days ago, but they might be shut down for the week for holiday. If nothing else it's just the 4 holes...
M10 1.5 x 30
Just one missing bolt shouldn't be enough to let the generator move that much, so I would check the other 2 in front for tightness (one is a little hard to reach up from the bottom) and the rear mounting bracket that goes over to the exhaust stud, as those exhaust studs are prone...
For tires, you can usually go up to 39" safely with nothing else done to the truck, but you will have issues if the springs are old/sagging.
You can't run tire chains on 39" without modifying the truck.
the "beadlock rims" are standard 16.5" rims, with a big spacer in the middle of the tire to...
Went and helped rescue a pickup that got itself stuck up on logging roads.
Then as we were just getting it turned around, 2 more decided to show up, and one of them got stuck 20 feet further up the road.
The 3rd one just needed help getting pulled back onto the road getting turned around.
If...
usually it's just the fitting on the hose size; one color of fitting is notorious for leaking, the other color seems good. I can't tell you what the colors are or which is the better one.
It's unlikely to be the fitting on the fan hub; it's a single piece with zero moving parts. The only...
I'll second this, it CAN be done in place.
Disconnect the line where it goes through the shroud on the driver's side, and the larger nut/washer holding it against the shroud. Then you can reach in and disconnect, and pull it all out.
The fitting in the fan hub is harder and will take quite a...
It's really hard to justify that kind of money on a jump start pack, when you can buy a pair of Hawker/Odyssey 6TAGMs, and still have enough left over to buy 2 of the GB150s that will have an equal amount of peak cranking amps when used in series (on one each battery) that the GB500 does
They...
