Wow...Thank You for all the help...the picture isn't of our truck just one I found off internet, did find a picture on SS of correct mounting so that helped, and thank you for the heads up on rivets as well. I think for now I will just mount the m66 ring and then come back and mount bracing...
So could I actually mount with out, then come back and mount the plate after...I'm pressed for time and wouldn't have enough time to mount it in there by end of weekend, due to crane reasons....
We are getting ready to put our m66 ring on but a few questions have arose.
- One of rings is stuck, so I pulled lock mechanism completely out but still wont budge...any suggestions or do I need to do a complete tear down..?

How hard is it to convert a gas deuce to a multi-fuel deuce, ie room, transmission, transfercase, etc..
If too much work, then I will more then likely be parting one out soon....
what are you questions about breaks....they do have an actual kit for the m37 and I have some on order, it just seems to be taking forever to get them. pm if you have any other questions

What would you say that this truck is worth. Claims to have newer transmission and extra transmission, newer tires, newer Beachwood canvas, good canvas seats, everything original except a couple plow brackets welded to frame, using an alternator, troop seat and cross bow hardware not original...
even though it's not military authentic, I use a Softcomm system and love it. I bought two c-40-20 stereo headsets and then a softcomm splitter box, up to four headsets. You not only can talk to each other of course but it's got built in squelch, can hook mp3 player to it, cell phone, etc...
