Small water-tight box (not pickup-truck sized, at least) mounted at the fore of the bed. Fits the snatch block as well as the original front bearing caps (should the locking hubs hit the fritz, etc) quite nicely.
Have you checked out the g741.org message boards? It's exclusively devoted to the M37/43/etc, and I think there might be some folks over there that would have a diagram of some sort... or plenty of advice.

All of the three above mentioned that the laws vary by state. They do. If I'm not mistaken you need something more than your standard drivers license to drive a deuce and a half in California. I believe this stems from the extra axle as compared to a 4x4 pickup truck...
Napa... it's for a motor from a 1956 Dodge pickup truck... that's what you need to tell them. Dodge used the 230 in their trucks up until 1958, so this will get you what you need.
