OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

the Red Dot units are great, but take up a LOT of space. if you look around the internet, you will find literally dozens of different ways people have installed them. I personally decided I didn't like the huge external condenser, and installed a fender mount condenser instead. As for the...

What should the oil pressure be on the 6.5L?

for mine, with brand new sender and gauge, is 50-60 cold, 30ish hot. 6.5l GEP I have never seen it go above 60psi.

    Sheared generator bracket bolts.

Looking around, I did find 2 different part numbers for the support bar, 1 digit apart for part number.

That's the picture from the M1113/M1114 TM. The picture I found in the M998 manual is this one, which shows a short bar.

    Is it just me?

yeah, it can take a little while to understand how some websites are set up. Once you figure it out though, life gets a lot easier.

    Is it just me?

there is a dedicated section for the tech manuals. if you scroll up to the top of the page you should see a header bar like this (using Chrome) then the HMMWV will be in the "present conflict vehicles" sub forum. The HMMWV manuals are on the 3rd page at the moment, with some other HMMWV...

    Sheared generator bracket bolts.

Hammer's trucks also invalidate the "Pre/Post 196900" parts breakdown, as both are 182xxx trucks; just one got the newer serp setup during rebuild.

    Is it just me?

it's the standard HMMWV manual. The M1123 is an A2 series truck. In the parts manual it's UOC NNN for parts. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/tms-for-the-m998-series-hmmwv.78861/

    Sheared generator bracket bolts.

in the parts manual the pre 196900 serial number shows bracket to exhaust stud. Post 196900 appears it should be the longer one

    yes, 35 amp is perfect.

    CIVI Gen. thoughts.

As others said, you can step up to the next breaker size. However, unless there is some reason you need every single watt of power continuously, using a 30 amp breaker should work just fine. Pretty much all breakers are the thermo trip type, which means they have to heat up before they will...

    Fan Clutch hose

bleeding isn't really necessary; it's a dead end system, and as the clutch engages and disengages the air should work it's way out over time.

    Fan Clutch hose

take the one you have in to a hydraulics shop and have them make you one.

    Sheared generator bracket bolts.

where does the rear support bracket go on the one with the new style setup? Is it a long one down to the block or short one to the exhaust stud?

    old style.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

at least she had 2 to choose from. Would kind of suck if there was only one and she claimed it.

    Sheared generator bracket bolts.

yeah, I found the part number for the longer bracket in the ECV parts manual (12460273), going to order that instead of the one on there. I figure even if the longer one doesn't work for some reason, I can use a torch to twist the existing one into shape so it's more flat (out of the truck; I...

    Sheared generator bracket bolts.

I see a spacer in the parts breakdown image that looks pretty big, but no part number for it. Also not seeing how/where it would fit on here, as there is no free space at all between the mounting tabs and the bracket spacer. My UOC os NNN. Later in the parts manual there is a spacer/washer...
