Is there a separate parts manual for the ECV M1165A1 parts?

Military TM‘s have many “changes” eventually the Govt issues a “new” manual with new “publication date”,these new manuals incorporate all the previous “Changes as well as new content , but the newer manuals are not for General release and are on the ETM’s, those ETM’s are restricted.

    Arrival of 2nd HMMWV M1151A1

Most people have a 2 car garage and are already at max cars, people also have CC&R’s that they have to contend with, there are more of these folks than there is folks with room to store a parts truck, even I’ve run out of room at the shop and I have 2 acres.

    transmission reset

use a multi- meter to determine if the breaker is open or closed, but yes…you can bypass by jumpering the 2 leads together, but maybe the breaker is working as designed and you truly have a short that is blowing the breaker? I mean..,if this was your house and you had a blown breaker at your...

Finding actual build date of an m1097r1 ?

3 speed is going to be an 85-94 DOD…4 speed is 95-2006 DOD and no, GP is not going to let you pick your model year if the truck has a model year in the listing.

    M1097R1 No start

The response was satire…the “assume” ass- you- me is an old saying for many years….so no, I’m not offended. And in retrospect, assuming something is correct is not how you verify something is correct, especially on an ex-military vehicle worked on by 18yr olds who can barley check the engine oil.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

these USMC trucks have had a lot of salt water immersion, as you said…if you have a leak on the core, there are others. also, there is No civilian replacement radiator for the ECV, so that option is out…remove the radiator and send it out and see if it’s even repairable, there are 3 versions of...
