you need to unbolt the panal from the b-pillar, you will find both positive and negative grnd strips, they are wired to 24v. the small 2 post strip is 12v, the red button is the transmission circuit breaker reset.

installed with the correct hardware and bracket, they can still be removed.

The ECV is on,y about 1/2in more than the standard hmmwv lift, the black plastic closeout is part of the mud flap kit.

The only metric anything on a hmmwv is the engine, trans and Tcase , no where else is metric fasteners sizes range from 10-32 to 3/4in….thread pitch is SAE

if the slip yoke is removed from the tailshaft, yes…it will leak, the seal is for the slip yoke
