I would be more than happy to tell you what the problem is, but I’m convinced you would find fault in my answer, as it appears you have in others…
question, why are you here asking questions and then discounting the responses from people who have been working on this platform for many many...
you never use starting fluids on IDI diesel engines…test/replace your glow plugs and test your start box…one thing at a time.
Your fuel leak is most likely the fuel lift pump diaphragm and pump needs replacement, could be a lose hose clamp or leaking hose too…quite common on these surplus trucks.
The 92-93 H1 kept the B-pillar support brace but modified it to allow for bucket seats to recline farther back…the brace
was retained, just ”notched“ by removing 2inches or so, then an insert inserted and welded in, IMO…it was over kill, but they had to possibly adhere to FMVSS, but 94 and up...
They are brazed, but forewarning, this is best left to a professional at a radiator shop, the heat required in that area can also melt the solder
internally on the tubes, once fix is applied, you need to pressure test the radiator.
They are called “TSU” not TCU, TSU is Temp sending unit, all TSU’s are backwards compatible, the 2920-01-175-7214 is the OLD “glow Plug controller”, will not work with any model EESS or S3 EESS.

yes, that truck is on a private road at my shop…anything else you’d like to know?
clearly you have some BS Ax to grind here…and you have just made my point as to why this topic shouldn’t be allowed.
and this is why these conversations shouldn’t be allowed…
these vehicles don’t meet FMVSS requirements in several states, one is California, this too can be debated.
But going back to your statement that these trucks don’t have a “restriction“ is wrong…
Title and registration for road use is a...
well, your just wrong….USMC trucks don’t have “off Hwy“ printed on the SF97, DLA trucks do…and you clearly never read your TSC approval letter on USMC trucks.
a. Unless compliant with State and Federal regulations, these vehicles are for off-road use only.
I thought this forum banned title and registration talk? Guess not anymore….every post about it is just a great tool for DMV investigators and Hwy patrol, think I’m kidding? I had a conversation with a “person” of knowledge and a revoked registration who was told flat out that they love these...
the hmmwv‘s suspension doesn’t articulate much, it was designed not too, at least not like conventional autos, adding spacers creates more extreme angles on the halfshafts both inboard and outboard side of the CV joint shaft, when the control arms do articulate under load, it creates binding On...
