I just ran mine up to the intake like the manual specifies, but I added a "T" fitting to let it drain out when not in use. (just have to remember to close the valve before using).
My GA Rally T-shirt that has a big CUCV key on the back side with the key code printed on it it is----Round! Hope that helps. Sure there's 50-60 participants on here that can confirm this from a few years ago.:beer:

What McMaster part number are you using? I have some on my truck, Maccus also had some on one of his. I have no problems with them, don't think he did either.
