    I just used a "flat wrench" Is it not 1-13/16"? or was it 2-13/16"/ I can't remember Still have it someplace. That and Kroil and extensions and 9/16" and anyhow if you just loosen it and crank the engine it will get tighter. That is the design. Like all loose but not even a wrench on it.

    New deuce owner seeking advice

    When you remove the alternator/generator take and clean that big ground wire landed on the frame underneath it. It is the only way/time to get to it and it needs to be cleaned up and relanded.
