    That NSN 6110-01-542-7901 / KDS part # CR-2701 is indeed the latest PCB box out there. I am running one on my M998 with KASCAR non swelling glow plugs.. It does NOT have a seperate GP Harness. (Only the LAU style box had this harness, and it burned up some HMMWV's before the DOD discontinued...

    Those are CROPS. Slighty smaller than the M1077 flat racks. They were originally designed to have ammo loaded on them, put inside CONEXes at the ammo factory, and shipped to the battlefield.. I had the first 5 of them the army ever played with.

    M35A2 tranmission rebulds?

    Who either can rebuild a M35A2 tranny or has one already rebuild for sale in the NY/NJ/PA/CT area? Something ready to bolt on.. Any idea of a ball park price? My buddy's M35A2 lost a syncro, and rebuilding xmissions is not our forte. Thanks!

    The problem is that no one wants to hear what people who know are saying.. Remeber when M35A2's were listed by the hundreds a year or 2 ago on GL? Now look for them. The flood of 900 series 5 tons has started. I think the smart vendors will buy trucks to part out, as spare parts supplies...

    The "brain box" that controls the glowplugs. Look for it under the dash, drivers side, It has a BIG canon plug going to it, and a big canon plug on the engine compartment side.. Let us know what the sticker says.

    No baffles + towing it not totally full or totally empty = accident waiting to happen. I have seen first hand a 1/2 full water buffalo overturn a M113A2 going down a tank trail.

    Suck it up for the $60 and get the SF-97 then get it titled in your name. No issues that way. In some states, NY being one of them, no title = no registration no matter what sad story you have or how many bills of sale or anything else.
