Sounds like the guy is trying to barter with you or use the truck to offset the job cost? If you click the Gov Liquidation add on the top left hand side of the page I am fairly sure you will be able to find a 5ton truck in Alabama or Georgia for less.

Others are probably more knowledgeable on this topic but it seems there are missing variables from your equation such as how far and what type of road conditions.

I don't dog my truck out, nor am I reving in neutral and slapping it in drive trying to spin tires. I could care less about that, but I do notice that the tires bark a bit off the start. My truck seems to have plenty of power, I found it odd that some guys are having power issues that's all.

Hey Elkhunter even DM here got the joke (and he is a 4-star), I know I have a dry sense of humor, maybe SS guys are like those of us in the military "to many type A personalities". Nobody is attacking anyone. I think the thick skin rule is in play here. oh its spelled criticize btw

Aaron, Most of you here on SS don't know it but I support my mother who is no longer able to work, for this reason we do not get to do to many fun events. This was great for my family it was something that we were able to do as a family and it only cost us a tiny bit in fuel cost. Thank you...
