Does the Wagner call itself an "HVLP" sprayer? I thought it had to be air powered to fit into the HVLP category... all the Wagners I've seen have some kind of motorized atomizer, and I've never met anyone who was satisfied with their performance.
Harbor Freight has HVLP spray guns on sale for...
Ernie did it right... Napa changed part number 4309, the direction of flow is opposite. Mike (Devilman) told me that for a while he was getting either flow direction when he ordered them, but recently they have all been opposite. Napa said the old style is no longer available unless it is old...
The only other gaskets I can think of are the two exhaust gaskets, one on each side of the flex pipe that couples the turbo to the j-pipe. They like to crumble when you take them off.

It was a one-off deal, but I'm pretty sure Dave Walker still has some for ~$500... A good deal especially for anyone in Southern California since it can be picked up to avoid shipping.
Thanks Ace! ...I think I get it now, I did not understand the two little slotted angle pieces at the bottom of the window frames... I had tightened the screws with them all the way at the bottom of their slots, but now I see how this acts as the adjustment - the angle piece hitting the top of...
It's unfortunate that this statement went unchallenged in the article... The next paragraph should have read:
But Ponty points out that the DMV is in error, and that in fact the Pinzgauer, as well as every other current and former military wheeled vehicle, is designed to operate on roads and...
I see your point... I'd probably have done the same thing, but the price disparity was much greater in my case... Bill Watson's price (per his website) is now $1100 for a mule engine, plus figure another $200 or so for shipping. I got my new genset engine for $350 and have everything I need to...
I also replaced everything... all new rubber, felt wipers and door channels. It made no difference. Nothing is worn out, the parts are a sloppy fit when new!
Another issue my truck (and everyone else's?) has is that if you open the door and then roll up the window, then close the door, the...
Jones is correct - the top rails / back rests have different holes than the seat parts, but the wood is the same overall length. I had the opposite problem.... My troop seats were rotten and I had access to piles of new top rail sections. I bought enough to do the whole truck - Then I sanded...
I wouldn't use DELO 100, it's only for Detroit Diesel two-strokes - I was just using it as an example of a special oil for a special engine... and an air-cooled v-12 diesel is indeed a special engine!
A quick Google search for OA-M6AD revealed that it is an SAE 40 weight oil. Chevron DELO 400...
Yup! About two blocks away, off Mauna Loa St. Gimmie a shout when you're in the area, you've got to visit Dave Walker's yard, too if you've never been there...

I've tried to download the ORD 9 SNL G-749 that is in the TM section, and I get errors saying it is corrupt. I've tried many times, to open it in a browser window or download it directly (right click and save).
Can someone check it and/or re-upload it? I'd love to have a copy, and I don't...
This seems to be a common problem... was just talked about recently. Does this thread help?

Water and some oil is normal... There can be lots of water in humid areas. Coolant would be bad, indicating internal problems with your compressor.
According to the manual some oil is normal, too... How much? It doesn't say but I wouldn't worry unless you frequently get a lot. The compressor...
Hello, I'm just catching up on this thread... Great truck!
On the oil, I'd make absolutely sure that a multi-grade is okay... It's generally not recommended for air-cooled or two stroke engines because of the extra heat load the oil has to contend with. The viscosity modifiers get burned up...
