This was a re-core I had done about 8-10 years ago. Leaking now. Wise money would have bought a new one with a lifetime warranty. I had a radiator shop do the work they do not give lifetime warranties. Sort of hard to ask after 8 - 10 years. But the Autozone one would be no questions asked. I...
I drilled mine out and welded the holes shut on several CUCV's I was repainting. It always looked nice in my eye with not holes. Except a few bullet holes. I have replaced the riv-nuts for a few customers also. I have no use for the tree catchers. If you need some new ones I have them.
I have a set of the expensive Hoppy head lamp aimers. I agree that 99.9% of headlamps are not properly adjusted during the annual Pennsylvania State safety inspection. If they light they pass. I seldom ever used the set of adjusters I have. I was required to have them in order to get my...
Mine just came direct from Truck lite. I just received them yesterday. I buy direct from Truck lite NOT a dealer. Still the same lights from what I see.
Tuesday night before my vacation. This is a new gate. Used the ratchet straps to pull the gate opening into alignment. That was easy. More progress later. I came home for lunch and loaded my smoker with some pork. Getting ready for a party this weekend. Have a great day. Don't waste this...
Getting Terminus M1009 ready for October 21, 2017. Not much to get ready. Change the oil and grease it. Been sitting since July 15, 2017. That was Trucks Gone Wild. Yankee Lake Ohio. Hope you can make it. Or not. A day of fun in the sun. I wish. Maybe. Either way rain or shine. I did fire it up...
I can't elaborate on any hot spots. I have them on several CUCV's and plow trucks. It is a whiter light and has less glaring effect to oncoming traffic. The LED headlamp that truck light makes is also made in a snow plow light. I installed these on the trucks last winter. I am thinking of adding...
Did you use Truck lite LED headlamps. Truck lite 27450 C. I just purchased another set for an upcoming build. Never had any issues with any bright spots. On multi diodes I seen they were poor. LED technology has come a long way in the past couple years. Post a picture if you can.
I had a post deleted. Not sure why. I will repost some more progress pictures. I have the Tuesday new tail gate install and a few more pictures of all the bumper braces and brackets that I prepped for paint. I was able to find a like new spare tire carrier in my stash of parts. Still had the...
After a day of unscheduled vacation from the site I am back. Baltimore was a blast yesterday. I was able to pick up some nice CUCV truck parts for an upcoming build. I hope to see a few more new faces at the Rausch Creek Off Road event Saturday October 21, 2017. I will bring a truck load of good...
How about weak flasher assembly? Check it out. You have 2 flashers in the fuse box. Switch them and see if that solves the issue. Assuming the 4 ways work as designed. About $10. and you can buy 2 new HD flashers. I have Trucklite LED electronic flashers in a few of mine. Please. Report back.
