there has been a lot of talk about acrylic's/alkyd's and urethanes I need something that has a good corrosion resistance is easy to apply for a beginner with basic equipment and wont cost a lot of $$$$$. any help you guys can give would be great.

I have some bad news Donaldson 18265-P11-7551 filters are only sold in case's of 25 minimum. the Baldwin PA1620 is the next best choice [2cents]
