Find a 92-93 6.5. Rob the sensors , harness & ecm. Bolt it in your truck. Shift to drive and use the accelerator.

The 14 bolt is more compareable to an 80. A 60F & 70 rear are pretty much equal in strength as they use the same yokes/ splines (weak piont). Your going to find that the 14 & 60 dont have many ratios in common. If you have access to an 80 it is Stronger than the 14 or 70. Here is some food...

You can get 5.13 for Dana 80s. Overson stuff is great, but not bullet proof.....

Sorry but the cucv is a 1ton chevy frame, I have a stack of them here, they are identical. Half and Most 3/4 frames are not as tall. Mesure the same spots on the frames and you will see.

Jack up 1 rear tire off the ground to unload your drivetrain. Give the rear pinions a good shake and check IN/OUT movment. Just offering up ideas.

Yes, If you had the sprauge style there might have been a chance it was broken. If you have the switch on the dash you dont have a sprauge to worry about. Eliminates one thing that could be causing it.

There both rockwells, Yours has the lever on the dash to engage the front axle right?
