And since the classifieds thread is locked: Regardless how much you pay, whether $15 or $300. This is a MV site; no Hondas or Viagra for sale even if you are selling it to buy a MV! It is MV's only for sale or wanted!2cents
Curious what the correct torque is. The previous page said 200 this one 400; that's a heck of a difference.:???:
The 20-3-2 says 350-400 ft/lbs, I'd be re-torquing those done at 200 guys. (on page 3)
One sold on GL 4-5 years ago. There's another in the midwest. I really doubt you'll find a manual except maybe from the manufacturer. I think they are amphibious too. Rare vehicle.[thumbzup]
Are you trying to cover it because of neighborhood requirements or weather? It has probably sat outside uncovered for decades in the military. Will 2 more months really matter? If you need it covered for the neighbors, I'd just get an RV cover.[thumbzup]
The military toyed with 6BT's in a deuce. I had a kit to do it. It was sold to M-series rebuild in NC. He still actually does the install in deuces. I believe Eastern Surplus also had a deuce with one in it 2-3 years ago.
