    DEUCE spin on oil filters!!!!

I had a leak at the top where the bolt head is, and it was only the washer that was bad.

    crankcase breather question

so Will, you say that the trucks pass wind? I believe you are correct! Has anyone tried extending the 'wind tube' all the way to the rear and letting it vent there? Would there be any advantage? 1/10 of a quart can make a big mess under the truck if it is evenly applied. I believe Bjorn had...

    Oil analysis report... scary!

Bjorn, I am verry sorry to hear of this problem with your truck. Looks like some major engine work will have to be done. At least it was caught before anything real bad happened.

MO OK AR KS TX rally

If we are to do a convoy, who has operational radios compatible with VRC-12? (RT246, RT524, PRC-77, PRC-25). Also headset type H-161/GR works on the PRC-77 and PRC-25. Should have one in the lead truck and one in the tail. Since we are short on ham operators I'd suggest using the same as...

    DEUCE spin on oil filters!!!!

So even if the filter is full of oil, it won't pour out when changed? In any case, do you mean that after sitting for weeks, the oil pressure comes up in 3 seconds? My olde beasite sits for 2-3 weeks at a time. I sure do hate the 20-second wait for presure..

Deuce radio antenna, 5 ton style

I believe it is the same "sugar scoop" bracket as shown on the fender installation. The bracket heights and edges are just about perfect for the weld-in. The cables run together along the top of the toolbox, under the cab. They are tied up inside the drivers fender. The pass. side cable goes...

    Is this RT-524A demilled?

Mr. Haney has the parts, can also fix the radio since you have misalignments, they are somewhat critical. Be careful BTW there is some quite high voltage on the final amp section!

    Don't try this!

good effort but what a gyp not show the whole thing. I wonder if someone got the steering wheel in the teeth on that one. As the post said though they had to pay for it.. as if being in iraq right now is not enough. BTW vixy.net lets you convert and download the videos from such places.

Yes Im Posting ANOTHER Filter Thread!!

Bjorn, that's not an error being fixed, it's a "design spin". At least that's what I have learned since I went from engineering to marketing!! Djfreema, Dang I was going to say that also! What do we suppose the reason for that unneccessarily huge box was?

First time painting - what do I need to know?

Obviously you guys already know more about painting than I do, but the biggest lesson I learned from painting the same place 2 or 3 times is to be diligent in surface preparation.

Yes Im Posting ANOTHER Filter Thread!!

If the kit has straight threads in the drilled out cap screws, how about if pipe nipples were put in and welded in thecap screws so they would not ever leak, and then you would have a tapered thread on top. Does this sound reasonable?
