    WWII RPV camera unit

I believe it was classified in those early days. The new owner is attached to it primarily because of the type of imaging tube and he is a collector of television equipment, but as always if someone is more interested due to the militaria value of the entire unit, a satisfactory arrangement...

tapping the deuce's fuel tank for a generator

You are exacytly right sir! I usually do buy at least grade 5. It was my own fault for not looking at them. I guess I assumed they would be better than pot-metal. Why would they even sell pot-metal bolts? Who would intentionally buy them and where would they be used? to hold seat cushions down...

I have not yet mounted it, however, it should be mointed to some metal surface like a cab wall or floor or other bulkhead etc. so that it can dissipate any heat. It is not likely to do so for normal operation, but in case the voltage should rise above the Zener diode's threshold, it could become...

Found and bought today.. I took pictures, as it will be going to its new owner soon. This is an Iconoscope camera from a WWII remotely piloted bomb. Note the many vacuum tubes. The rest of the system (TV transmitter, power supplies, flight control receiver, etc.. whereabouts unknown). These...

Air O Matic Power Steering Kit Update

I figured the parts support would continue so I said nothing when the cacophonous tumult over the 'discontinuation' began. I'm confident that the system will remain trouble free for a very long time. No one should be afraid to buy the units and use them as intended. Other than a boot sufering...
