Dave at Eastern Surplus used to have a deuce snow plow setup on his site, about 6-12 months ago I think. I seem to recall TNJ murray having had an 813 5-ton 12' snow plow rig on their site in the past as well. Its certainly possible.
They are my favorite at all the Air Shows. I've got a good picture I took where the props are stopped stone cold. I think that B17 in my picture was from Texas somewhere.

Nice modification. Would shorten it though, It's like the M37 with the long stick, except your colliding with the shifter instead of the dash or the steering wheel.
Could probably "derive" the coil from those part #s. If there's a NAPA with a guy who remembers carbureted and mechanical breaker-point ignited cars and trucks, probably try there. They may be able to figure the part #s out.
From what I have heard, if it's bypassed, leave it. It's only important (again, from what I've heard) when running your multifuel on Gasoline (and the like), as it compensates for the lower BTU content (read less power) of that fuel. If you're running Diesel, 50-50 WMO/WVO + Gasoline or...

I think the limiting factor on that would be the torque and PTO limitations. Mounting it should be no problem, although a small bit of fabrication may be required.
