DO NOT leave the driveline attached. Unhook the driveshaft from the rear, and tie it up so you dont have to worry about the fluid.
With the driveline unhooked, you shouldnt have to worry about neutral on anything.
RE: Re: RE: Listening to radio with key on ??
they should time out after a while. Also, if you had the engine running recently and its still hot, they shouldnt turn on anyway.
No, they should cycle a number of times... until the timer runs out. Mine cycles for about 30 seconds or so... not sure it knows how cold it is out, but i think it does it longer when cold.
CUCV's do not have the ACC position. While I dont think there would be an issue in doing it, you will have excessive battery drain. I would suggest maybe an accessory toggle to power on the radio for when you want to listen without the key.
Little impatient are we?
They are fixed now, I finally got time to make the code adjustments tonight. It seems graham upgraded some background software on the server when he put the new box in, and the classifieds had a 'variable' that didnt agree with it.
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: M1008 Glow Plug Issue
It almost sounds like something is wired wrong. Can you get me a good picture of your relay so I can see how its hooked up?
RE: Re: RE: M1008 Glow Plug Issue
The relay you are looking for is on the firewall just left of the Master Cylinder. It is a silver can with 4 terminals on it. 2 large, 2 small. Go to napa, tell them you need a 'solenoid' with all isolated terminals. If they look at you funny, tell them...
RE: Jumping
Well it all depends on why your truck 'wont' start. If you leave the lights on, yeah, you can jump just the front battery. If for some reason BOTH batteries were to drain, you will need to totally seperate vehicles, and 2 sets of cables.
Be very very careful when jump starting...
Not to be a jerk.... but how hard is it to read on the MAIN page? I struggle with helping anyone who doesnt bother to pay any attention to what is staring them in the face.
This is how the main page shows up to anyone who is not logged in. The red box clearly shows how to contact for help...
Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: frame dimensions M1008 and s
Removing a body you dont care about is easy.... The issue arises when you remove a body you want to keep ;-)
The suburban body I removed got rolled off the side of the frame with a Farmall H... it went down the road on a roll-off...
