FWIW, I did not see it mentioned so i figured i would throw it out there.
DO NOT MIX THE BEARING CAPS UP. They are marked, If you look carefully at the cap you will see a letter (usually K, 0, or P) stamped in them. one will be up right, the other on its side. Its mate will be stamped the same...

Start a thread with pictures of the problem (what you saw) and include how you "re-designed" it (moved the line to a better spot) That way it could be a good upgrade to the rest of us.2cents
My thoughts exactly on the lean condition, The water also helps reduce the preignition knock. It will shorten your engines life. Hate to say it but no such thing as free energy.
Personaly i have never had anything close to a rim or torque rod faill. I think i have heard of 1 or 2 rods fail, non catastrofic as they where off road twisting the truck up. I think you would be better off finding a economical cure to duramax injectors or 6.0 head gaskets
I am confused, Thought you said you drove truck. Semi right? Your semi has leaf springs? If i where you i would be more worried about your $ making truck. Havent seen an OTR truck that did NOT have air bag suspention in quite some time.

FWIW, If i where you i would go with the dodge trans. I spoke with an allison rep today........Not looking good. I told him what i want to do (5.9 w/p-pump + allison 2200) and he made a few phone calls. When he called me back he said Allison/detroit information is proprietary and is not avaible...
