    Installing reverse lights

Nice job, glad it worked out as planned. The "warning" switches are pretty easy to wire up, just watch out when wiring a "Eject" switch up, and never install a "Destruct" switch..... JC

    Installing reverse lights

Use a multi meter to determine the switch config/continuity. The switch you have is off a wrecker, it powers two rotating beacons. Real simple circuit. Power through the switch to one connector of the bulb, other connection at bulb go to ground. As for your intial power source, find a splice...

Buying M923 on CL vs GL

Hambo, GL has a lot of inventory to move in the next month or so. Indy and Sparta are relatively close and have good contacts to preview a truck for you. Half the fun is the recovery. You may save a few K$$. Just a thought. JC

Woody, 90 psi in the front tires, 70 psi in the rear, Find an operators manual and get real familiar with the truck before driving around here and there. These trucks are relatively easy to operate and easier to get in trouble with. Have fun, be safe. JC

Congrats from Kentucky, a truck, trailer, generator, and an accommodating Mrs. , you are set. Teach her to drive it, she'll fit in the drivers seat probably better than you. Definitely keep the generator handy, when the lights go out you will be king of the block. JC

    M105A2 landing gear problem

My bad, I took it that the rear support rod is stuck up. Front gear is stuck up, try supporting most of it's weight while working the release. Lube the lock pins well. Do not sit under the front of the trailer.

    M105A2 landing gear problem

Get on your butt and under the trailer, see how the mechimism works and releases. You may need to support the weight of the gear rod, additionally make sure that the foot pad is not wedged up to the lower cross member. If the leg is extended just right it can wedge up to the frame rail when...

What's an acceptable daily voltage drop for a battery if the truck is just sitting?

Something had to be left on. These truck are designed to sit for long period with zero drain. I have several that sit for weeks and the voltage drain is not measurable. They fire right up on the first rotation of the crank. Wire it a 200 amp keyed master switch for the battery and isolate the...

    What do I have here?

Crash, Looks like you have a M105A2 that has been stripped. Even the hand brakes are gone. Be very careful and keep it chocked, they will roll away from you, ( or into you). I move them with a F350 with a raised pintle adapter, however they are to big for everyday civi pickup use without major...
