If anybody who checks this thread out wants a 427 turbo i have a complete long block in the crate...hope nobody minds me asking, i dont mean to take away from anything, I like the post love all the turbo info, hoping somebody knows the designation for the 427 one...Randy

all said and done , there may be no other vehicle ever in the world like a deuce, it lives up to its reputation and more, BUT it is an antique, no young driver i have seen will ever do anything in the field to the truck,and no or very very few young soldiers will take a deuce over an FMTV...

They drive well, very very well, I am a BIG supporter of them, they are up to date, and the more one looks into them the more good things there are to say about them, all the guys up here dont touch anything else anymore, only want to drive the fmtvs, and i can see why...plus as for...
A couple of level headed and proper responces here, cool heads always prevail, the last thing this hobby needs is a bunch of guys calling there congressmen, the less they know the better...
Tires fit no prob like said above,wont steer as tight,tires will rub, can back out the stops to keep from rubbing, not worth it in my opinion, but thats my opinion, BUT U wont be steering as tight anyway with those lockers or wont want to on a hard surface for sure, they really really bite...

some tops were/ are painted all the way accross, red or yellow, and some around here have been painted just around the spout hole, following the weld, red or yellow, the stanciling ..diesel/gas/mogas for oldy's/has sometimes been down the back...
thats a yes and no on the traction over NDT's , the wider tire pushes more mud, need more horse power to make em work, alot actually , the aired down NDT's are actually a very very good multi use tire,wider ... definitely in sand/rocks , a narrow tire will do more mud, ...BUT they are DARN...
I think this is one of those positive suggestions that makes sense, if it goes with the guys in charge im on board, but also see the problem of some over doing it,and some will so they need to be dumped quickly to keep it among members selling hobby goods.soI think it should be for members...
