Ok I'm *almost* ready to charge the system. The only remaining question/discussion I would like to have is regarding the system capacities.
The TM lists the capacity as approximately 4 lbs. I'm told by someone that has installed a number of these that it's 3.75 lbs. I can go off system...
And those of us with C7's at 370 HP / 930 Ft/lbs..... my back of napkin calculations similar to what Ronmar laid out indicate the additional power will help significantly offset the higher gear ratio. I look forward to posting videos and measuring performance.
You can also just use something like this to convert the signal to whatever you need.
https://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=1192/category_id=287/mode=prod/prd1192.htm
This has the added benefit that you can simply adjust it back to 1:1 if you put the reductions...
Due to the components and hoses I'm using I need to switch over to a different trinary switch. The one Tom is using in his wiring kits is a bit of an odd unit - being a factory switch for a 2001 to 2006 Hyundai Santa-Fe (the only application I could find anyway) and there is basically NO wiring...
Ah - yes so the AC terminal basically outputs alternator RPM to the LBCD and it judges battery state (and thus infers load) based on voltage.
But as you pointed out it's a Niehoff spec and we don't know how many pulses per rotation - plus it's alternator RPM not engine RPM. Not really easily...
The alternator AC post is a voltage regulator output that indicates alternator load to the LBCD. It is not a tach signal.
The ECM does provide a "complimentary" tachometer drive signal other than the J1587/J1939. On the C7 (I believe it should be the same on the 3126 - communication and...
These members orders went out yesterday:

I believe that's it for the moment. I have one more to go out today for @coachgeo
I'm going to take...
I completely agree, with the possible exception of one of the original design criterion for the platform - the 18" vertical wall climb. I'm not saying it absolutely wont do it, I'm just not SURE it would do it without the reduction.
That said - for the typical civilian use case such as an...
Icy roads - put on chains..... I can't see an advantage over just putting it in MODE and it being 50/50. Chain up the front and lock in the center..... with newer supple Goodyear MV/T's I don't see you having a problem.
Don't own a 6x6 but I can pretty much guarantee there's essentially zero...
The FMTV is AWD and if you were to "unlock" a hub the truck wouldn't move without putting it in MODE. I don't really see a use case for that feature - are you thinking of that combined with some sort of transmission reprogramming or a different transmission altogether?
TM operator instructions work package for raising/lower cab:
"Caution must be exercised while cab is raised. Ensure both doors are securely locked in the closed position before cab is raised or lowered. Keeping doors in the open position while cab is raised or lowered can cause stress on the...
Can you still install it? Different number of gear teeth just means it turns at a different ratio/speed - like change gears on a lathe...... That might be by design - we know there were several iterations of the pumps. Literally every listing for aftermarket pumps says 3116, 3126, C7.
That's...
I just checked and it went through but didn't show up in my Venmo account till 7pm - I went to the PO at about 3pm so it hadn't hit my account yet. I'll get it shipped out ASAP.

TM's are just a matter of asking the right people. You won't find them available for "download" because the newer stuff (A1, A1R, etc) are not just simple documents. They are gigabytes of executable software and each vehicle platform is a plugin that has to be installed into the software reader...
My priority mail flat rate boxes will be arriving tomorrow according to tracking so everyone that gets their payment in before tomorrow when I go to the PO will get mounts shipped.
I think they would work fine. They would look a little silly on something like my 1079 where it already almost needs larger tires as it's a bit visually out of proportion...
To the weight and balance points - I can tell you from direct experience that these tires don't require balancing and...
