    It might have had sales tax on it when bought but road use tax was not paid on motor oil .

    You mention there may not be oil in them , but no mention of putting it in . pulling the driveshafts will stop the transmission from turning , but you need to pull the axels for the rearends to stop . And doesn't the 900 series use a wet bearing that needs the oil in the rearend to get lubracation ?

    There is no real way to tell actual milage , if any part of the dash cluster fails the military will just swap it out with a new cluster .
