The tail may be wagging the dog. Weight empty is around #2700 and a high center of gravity for the Jeep. Pulling an m105 with a Blazer is a task, I couldn't imagine pulling it with a Jeep. Off road is only worse. Don't be baited by the cheap price, spring for the M101A2.
Tire sidewalls aren't always true. Look at the Michelins and you can see the ripple. Would you have better served yourself to measure off the wheel mounting surface? Just thinking out loud.
I have a set of uber cool Dualmatics that I have been saving for the deuce I no longer own. They are a somewhat primitive design so I wouldn't put them on a trail truck but they would be perfect for a shopvan or the likes. I need to figure out a price and get them in the classifieds or Ebay...

No worries Brother! Your wagon is one of the ones that inspired me to seek one. Now I absolutely love the truck. By far my favorite truck in the yard. I think I need to take a ride!
I think it looks great with the factory look. Lift kit keeps it tough looking too. The ring, you don't need it and can't use it. Look at the text you posted from the TM. Under the ring you will find UOC. This is used on code. Attached is a pic of the UOC legend from the TM. 254 and 256...
I love it. In my opinion, the only thing better than showing up at one of these Pomp & Circumstance events smelling like diesel fuel is to show up smelling like diesel fuel and covered in mud.
