    m105

The tail may be wagging the dog. Weight empty is around #2700 and a high center of gravity for the Jeep. Pulling an m105 with a Blazer is a task, I couldn't imagine pulling it with a Jeep. Off road is only worse. Don't be baited by the cheap price, spring for the M101A2.

Cucv front camber adjustment how to

Tire sidewalls aren't always true. Look at the Michelins and you can see the ripple. Would you have better served yourself to measure off the wheel mounting surface? Just thinking out loud.

    M1009 engine swap

That's great that it's a runner. Hopefully it runs better than its predecessor.

    M1009 engine swap

8, the sum of your pics is 8. I think you have many belts as well. Have you started it yet?

Brother Gary. Good to see you about!

Lockout hubs, who on SS sells them?

I have a set of uber cool Dualmatics that I have been saving for the deuce I no longer own. They are a somewhat primitive design so I wouldn't put them on a trail truck but they would be perfect for a shopvan or the likes. I need to figure out a price and get them in the classifieds or Ebay...

    M101A3 DTY Steel Stakes uprights.

Sadly, just weeks ago I chopped up a set of wood racks and tossed everything. I did do a tool review for the new Hackzall on the project.

    66 Deuce

It's not the 12 bearings that get you, it's the 10 tires unless you have a tire dolly. Deuce!

Lockout hubs, who on SS sells them?

You may have to alter your lean. Selectros are getting harder to find these days. Edit, looks like they are back on the market. Getting a little pricy though.

Where did that tree come from?

Statement to insurance company. " The tree was approaching fast! I swerved to avoid it but it struck my front end." BTW, the tree looks like it took the impact better than the DRMO building.

    Doing donuts in a Deuce.

Wow, that looks like a blast. It's 900 degrees here today.

    affects of run on starter

Fusible links weren't mentioned, I'd search there first. Warthog posted the name of a company that lists the kits. Under advance search use keyword alternator, select the CUCV forum and select posts made by Warthog, should net you the contact info.

TH400 Tansmisiion Pan Swap install and gasket recommendation...

In my opinion there is only one fault with the aluminum pan, they don't take well to dents. Fortunately that usually isn't a problem on CUCVs. I have them on the shelf for both 700R4 trannys if I ever get around to doing the swap.

    M1010 Adventures

No worries Brother! Your wagon is one of the ones that inspired me to seek one. Now I absolutely love the truck. By far my favorite truck in the yard. I think I need to take a ride!

    M1010 Adventures

I think it looks great with the factory look. Lift kit keeps it tough looking too. The ring, you don't need it and can't use it. Look at the text you posted from the TM. Under the ring you will find UOC. This is used on code. Attached is a pic of the UOC legend from the TM. 254 and 256...

    18's on a m101a2?

Should bolt on. Depending on where you shop, for $50 more you can buy new 235/85R16 tires and not have to deal with the peculiar looking rims.

    Prom Deuce

I love it. In my opinion, the only thing better than showing up at one of these Pomp & Circumstance events smelling like diesel fuel is to show up smelling like diesel fuel and covered in mud.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Once the canvas smell is gone, it's time to replace them. I love the fresh smell of military canvas in the morning.
