    They need the P/S. A deuce is easier to steer in a parking lot than the M880. Despite the lack of fuel mileage, they are a great truck.

    They are not popular. Only the 50s gassers had them. You could drill and tap the center post and just screw the mirror in directly.

    There is a little hat shaped bracket that the mirror attaches to and is screwed into the post.

    Pull the mag apart and file the points. Snap spin by hand to check. If that gets you spark (and it will) replace the points. For some reason once filed, they never last.
