Thanks guys. I have been reading the TM and understand it. I think I will perform a few test tomorrow to confirm that the card needs to be replaced. I think I read in another thread that it cost about $125.
when I jump the dark blue wire to ground and the the light came on. When I took the card out I saw a black mark on it. looked like some sort of electrical blow out.
when I jumped the light blue wire by accident it started the relay and I had power to the plugs.
I think a bad card is the...
yes it did
so if the light doesn't come on with the temp sensor bypassed it might be the light.
problem is even with no light the GP's are not cycling.
I will do this
thanks for the help
I just unplugged the temp sensor (made it an open circuit) and still no "wait" light or GP cycle sounds.
I checked all the fuses under the dash and did not find any blown ones.
what is my next step?
Re: RE: Re: How they/you do dat?
the left front tire will rub on the drag link when turned hard right.
he did not drive over anything that would make the rear flex, but we are gonna take it to my bog in the next week and try out the tires. I will have him drive over the hills and watch the flex
I tried to bypass the thermostat today . nothing happened. the "wait" light still didn't come on.
I jumped the solenoid for 10 sec and tried to start it it didn't start. I did that a few more times and it didn't start.
comments or suggestions?
Re: How they/you do dat?
he didn't flip the rear hubs. I don't think he is worried about the outer bearing. Some other guys have done the same thing, but with smaller tires.
Re: RE: 46" XL
2 inches (twice the clearance on my 5tons with 1600's), the deuce has a 48" inch spread.
these tires came off of deuces in the military (or so I'm told)
mudboggers run alot bigger tires than that on deuce axles.
RE: 46" XL
ooops
here is an update on Lukes dodge 6x6
he added 46" Michelin XL Military tires to the spec list
