any update opn this problem. I think the temp sensor in my 1008 failed cause the "wait" light doesn't come on and I don't hear the GP's cycling on and off.
comments?
where is the best place to get the temp sensor? I thought I read somewhere that it was different from the civi.
thanks in advance
Re: confused about driveline disconnects
all the semi trucks that I know of power the front drive axle. If I was going to install a lockout hub on the back i would do it on the rear axle. and leave the front to drive. That is my opinion.
I would like to hear why it would be better to power...
maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can explain about washed and unwashed bio-diesel. I think that is the only difference between commercial and homemade.
the ramps are cool and handy in special situations, but I am already planning on building a ramp at my bog and Vince's so we don't have to mess with the ramps.
edit: a dirt and railroad tie ramp to back the semi trailers up too.
check the prices with www.Discountramps.com iwould imagine that lighter ramps would be cheaper. You might want to call landsport after you get a price from discount and ask their price.
maybe you should think ahead and get something your pickup or deuce will be able to drive on. then you would...
I bought mine here. http://www.landsport.com/
Nice ramps I got a modular system that has a pillar in the middle between 2 ramps. That way you can load vehicles with low ground clearance. Sorta Pricey. I paid $2500w/shipping to MI for a set that will load a semi truck 4 foot off the ground...
Re: RE: Camper/Motorhome Conversion Thoughts
I think it is by the fuel tank. I pulled my shop van off. The only things I unhooked was the trailer plug, fuel line for heater, ground and single wire next to the fuel tank and ground wire. I never tested it, but it has a wire number on it.
Using...
good idea, I have 200+ feet of 3/4 and 1 inch cable for "extensions". 400+ feet is a fair amount
not in the tool box though. on a pallet at home. Seemed like a good idea when I bought it but the 1 inch weighs @ 423 pounds. I will figure out something
steering broke so I had to pull it to the parking lot so he could fix it.
people never take pics of the recover vehicles. so this is the best pics I have.
Re: RE: 5 ton in mud pit
I was waiting for this. I have a 413 BB with auto trans so no valve on the top of the trans cover. I bought a 3 way valve and mounted it in the dash. I have a electric air compressor. I drive around in 4x6 most of the time so I don't forget to switch the valve to the...
this is my 5 ton going through a 4 foot deep hole. I have 1600 XL's on it you can see where I stop and lock in the front axle.
5 ton action starts at 3 min 10 sec
