As with all of us here of SS, we hope everything was running before proper storage. However, it's usually not the case. Kepp your fingers crossed and let us know
how lucky you are when you recover it.

Booger,
Michelin made a good tire, they do wear quickly compared to other like tires. (depending on driving habits) I purchased two NOS tires that were manufacture in 2003 and were stored indoors. Not a mark or crack in them after installing them on my A3. Get a good look at them.

Bulldog,
Congrats on your new truck, equipped with the 11x20 XL Michelins , good tires. That will make a great farm truck.
I stock an spin on oil filter adapter kit for the NHC250, replaces the cartridge/canister assembly with commercial Fleetguard LF670 filter. All our 250s are equipped. Also...
Gunny,
Great attention to detail. Really nice work. I don't see a for sale sign? -just kidding, you better not. Spent some time in Elgin IL in my college days.
Stay warm

Patriot,
My unit was one of two out of Warner Robins a couple of weeks ago. Should ship from D. Morgan's place this Thur. My plans are similar to yours; lift and fix stuff around the farm, first job is to pull some cut white oaks out of the woods for lumber to build a truck shed. I have an...
Nice truck, don't over look that it has the front vise and convoy lights. The rest of the BII can be pieced together, spades are neat to have but do you really need them? The truck weighs 36K lbs. What do you plan on yanking? I've got a M936 shipping next week, it needs all the goodies also.

Put a spin on oil filter adapter on my M925/ NHC250. Clean up the engine compartment. Stated it up and no leaks.
Then when back to the shop and readied the transmission in the M35A3 to come out. Got the roof off, all that left is hoist it down.

Jack,
Nice work on the trouble shooting. Now you know a little more about your MV. Lots of guidance from the guys sure helps also. I knew you could do it. Figured it was the starter to whole time. I've changed many after using the percussion adjustment method get one to spin. Get the original...
Thanks for the follow up, surprised the truck wasn't equipped with a device to secure the cylinders for maintenance / servicing . Maybe paint it caution yellow, or warning red.
If reverse is truly gone, (internal issues and not externally caused) most likely 4 gear is out too. Takes 4th to make reverse. Their big and heavy but with manual and tools they can be rebuilt. Good folks at ATS Transmissions, Ft. Worth Tx,
probably have everything you need, reasonable...
Jack,
Snap out of it, its a truck (small one). Take the batteries to AutoZone, they will load test them at no $ charge. Then if batteries check good, take the starter off and find a starter/alternator shop and have it tested/repaired or exchanged.
Report back.
Sounds like an adventure in the making. Those units might run like a top or crap out 5 miles down the road. Can they be moved to private property and then gone over? I've recovered fresh "reset trucks that ran perfect and one that ended up with a bad piston sleeve (oil in the coolent). Truck...
