    Radiator can be soldered/fixed. Do not forget to put oil in the crank case.Definitly flush the fuel tank w/ mineral spirits. Check for sand/dirt in and around the oil filter adapter. The one's I saw needs a good spray down. Get 'em runn'in JC

    Call the local GL site and ask for Andrew (he is the GL agent there) if he's got a minute he'll give you the straight poop on the unit. If the unit has issues GL at WPAFB is pretty good at stating that in the detail. You can drive it away.

    M 925 Lube Question

    Just happen to have the LO 9-2320-272-12 on the kitchen table. Lube points (L) on card 19 of 23 show lube zerks. I would replace the plugs and make sure they do not interfere with the steering.

    Locked Military padlocks

    That's what the locks told me also, need to get the tumbler out for key could, it really frustrated them. I'll gather them up and try Art.

    Hey from Kentucky, rented a house in Lead and Spearfish canyon for a couple summers, love your state. 6' 6" frame will be real uncomfortable in a deuce or M809. Better size up a M923. Good luck JC

    Locked Military padlocks

    Took a couple of the GI locks found in several trucks to local lock smith shop. pretty big place, three different locksmiths could not pick them open or make a key. I was willing to pay them well. Still have the locks, I'll dig them out and try again.

    If the trailer is equiped with sides and bows, try to take it all down, the wind resistance is terrible with the front and sides on.

    Purchace a new data plate and apply your vin/registration number to it. Ensure it match Bill of sale, SF97 and frame number, if applicable.

    Search the threads in the 5 ton forum, the engine barring tool was discussed not to long ago, and a couple of photos were displayed. The tool can be had at the commercial level. (big truck stuff store). JC
