Same in Kentucky, no requirement to checks for cats, if there was , they would find 3 in the house and a stray my wife feeds on the porch. They play he** on the chipmunk population.
I too have been reluctent to respond, having never met the man or conversed with him. I followed several of his posts and read of his triumphs and challenges, posted by others. He indeed was a good man and now resides with the Lord. Prayers and condolences for his family and friends.

110 volts will limit you to smaller "hobby" welders. Hobart makes the 187 Handler MIG welder. It's 220v and works well around the shop/farm. Priced reasonable. Tractor Supply stocks them and supports supplies and accessories. They even have the mixed gas bottled.

Your truck is of the M939 family of cargo trucks. I strongly suggest you obtain the correct operators manual and other maintenance (tech) manuals and read, read, and read. All the info you need is contained in those manuals, all the answers are there. Also will make you a better...
Put a bid on U Ship, real easy and will get you a price that is real competitive. I have been sucessful with U Ship. Got a better rate than my normal frieght broker.
Put U Ship offers a insurance plan that is very reasonable.

AKM,
Nice truck, I got one out of the same sale as the owner. They are well kept AirForce trucks. Run a little Diesel Kleen in the fuel for the ride home.
It will really clean up the IP and injectors, should purr like kitten. Take pictures and be safe.

Reaper,
Nice old truck, hard top is a plus. Follow the advice recieved so far, leave the ATF out of the mix for now. After the Seaform treatment, run Diesel Klean fuel additive with your fill ups. I recovered a '73 that sat for a long time and had the same idle issues, clean the fuel system and...
