    SR71 Blackbird

to the best of my knowledge the last 2 SR-71's were retired by NASA in 1999. The museum in Richmond, Va has one on display. they also have the power cart used to star the engines on the ground. FYI It's 2 chevy 454's tied end to end and a 90deg drive shaft that goes up into the aircraft.

    Tow Bar

If a welder doesn't charge you more than $400 to build a towbar I wouldn't trust it. just remember than when that 13,000 lb truck comes loose behind you and wipes out a minivan full of kids it's all on YOU!!!

you got that right and with a lot of ppl on here just barely able to afford the trucks that are coming out I seriously doubt that they are going to be able to afford lawyers that can get them out of any trouble that they will be getting into. m900A2 intake?

I wish it were that easy. the one I saw had a purpose built bend in it almost like they were trying to get it a little further away from the cab than the straight stack.

    deuce transmission disaster...(pics)

more weight definatly helps. I was on a very rought streach of I-20 between atlanta and birmingham, AL I could look out the window and see the rear axle boucing off the ground and could hear the engine rev up between the bumps. I wasn't careful enough to let off in the bumps or step on the...

    deuce transmission disaster...(pics)

yes. it's much worse. the suspension design makes the front axle want to raise up when under power. it's much better to have the rear most axle doing the pulling, gives a tighter turn and less tire wear plus more MPG.

deuce trans disaster...(pics) I blew this tranny some years ago but just today got around to opening it up. I thought I'd post up some pics of the carnage for you guys and also add a word of caution for all of you running the lockout hubs on your tandem rears. All this IMO was caused by...

I'm always fixing the axle seals in my 5T bc I put a lot of miles on it. I just don't post about it bc it's the same exact process as the deuce and I don't feel it need to blab about it.
