the deuce will do it but your over the 10k trailer limit on a class C license and the deuce brakes are over their heads on it but it can do it. just don't do it around me please.
yes you can. there is a MWO for it.
you dont cap anything btw you simply remove direct full time pressure and run it thru a switch. if you wanted to bypass the stock transmission switch/valve you would need 2 new valves/switch like the deuce has. 1 for forward and 1 for reverse.
if you search for 5T sprag you will find a dozen or more threads all discussing the 5T sprag and the system and how it works and how to test it. it's been covered adnausium.
filters are the same as the 800's. and as I've said 100 times 1600's will kill the 250. fuel filter might help if yours is clogged and you truck is light.
you can even do the spin on conversion like I did. search the 5T forums for the info. I think it's a sticky.
I would suspect a bad clutch. possibly the springs in the clutch have gone south. if your sure it's motor then you need to start looking at fuel pressures all over the system.
20% would be too heavy IMO if your doing a single tank system. just remember that the fuel your using is going to sit in that injector and possibly cook inside said injector every time you shut it off. I would stay with 10% on a single tank system.
do filter your WMO very good. 5 or less is...
I used to run heavy amounts of WMO in my 6.2 powered hmmwv but I ran into a problem with the injectors. they would foul after a few hundred miles of use.
I was running a dual tank system switching to diesel for startup and shutdown every time and I still had the problem.
the inj's in the...
the tensioner is only there to keep a small amount of tension on the line when your not pulling a load (ie not let the line unwrap off the drum even when the drum is locked).
It has no other function.
To try and simulate a large load by crushing the cable between the rollers of the tensioner...
you dont need much tension at all. only enough to keep the drum from turning. I can't imagine even being able to move my lever to max tension.
expensive lesson learned.
you will at least have to have the vin and make and model verified by an LEO. in Ga the tag office has a form you can get filled out by and LEO just for this purpose.
the tag office wouldn't use the SF97 on any of my trucks/trailers. I had to get the form filled out.
ANY non standard vin (IE...
you did install the T in the wiring harness to power the light right? the buzzer does not have to be hooked up for the light to work. they are supposed to work together. both come on and go off at the same time. you can pull the wire on the top of the buzz box so it doesn't come on but you...
while technically correct. this only really applies when everything is new. once the engine has wear on it the "correct" timing may be different. I know on my 6.2 I've advanced it to the drivers side a few tick marks. seems to start and run better with less smoke.
the real way to do it...
