    Interesting find

If I may, This is where the confusion of the rules come into play. People find something odd, funny, interesting or what ever and they just want to talk about it. Thats fine, just save the picture and post it saying "look at this thing" and you can discuss it all day long as long as someone...

    first deuce

It might be just me but if you were denied by the gov. then I would have a hard time selling you a truck if I had prior knowledge of you being denied. The EUC paper trail is supposed to follow the vehicle.

    can anyone use these wheels?

I dont think those would work on a M715 with that offset.

Guys I won my first GL 818

You have 10 days from the time your EUC clears. The GL site your truck is at will get a copy of your paid in full invouce the same day you get notified. As far as a bed there is no bed that will just bolt onto a M818 without some modification to either the bed or the truck, or both.

    Bobbed Deuce - Load Tested

I have not researched this for myself but I have read on here that the M105 springs and the front deuce springs are the same. I could be wrong though.

What kind of springs are these?

They look like the springs under many of the single axle van trailers that are being surplused out lately

    Lugs OVERTIGHTENED

I wouldnt go that far. I often have a hard time trying to explain the simplest things sometimes.

    Lugs OVERTIGHTENED

Its hard to explain but the nuts and bolts are like gears. When you tighten them down they push against one side of the threads, when you stop, the spring action of the stretched bolt and compression from the rim push the contact point to the other side of the threads. When they sit for a long...

    Lugs OVERTIGHTENED

My father-in-law hauls for the local co-op and uses anti-seize on the lugs of his truck and trailer and Ive never heard him ever mention the lugs coming loose.

    Stock wheel orientation

Yep, take the rear hubs and "flip" them. Then you can run the rear wheel the same as the front and it tracks the same.

    EUC Question

How is your account thru GL registered? Is it your personal account or does it have the Corp. name on it? What ever is on the account is what needs to be on the EUC or they will probably kick it back for revisions.

Im not sure if I like this 6x6

I like it. But with so much work put into it why didnt he atleast make the rear fenders the right length to cover the wheels. They look to short to me.

    Might have found some tires

16's wont fit a stock deuce with the stock tandems. Better ask him if they are 16'or 14's.

    Angry Iron Bobbing M818

Dont scrap the 5th wheel. Sell it to someone to use or use it to build a trailer dolly.

    Tall Guy looking for options

Thats what I was thinking. If your going to mod it into a bobber then the money you save by buying an a2 vs an a3 should be more than enough to make up for the cost of stretching the cab.
