Great...stuck in Fennville w/a no-start CUCV any suggestions

I would agree, that you probably had some gelled fuel. How cold did it get there last night? I would suggest if your truck doesnt have one, to have a block heater installed. (I know I should plug mine in tonight!) BTW, I am convinced that the 1009 with good tires will go just about ANYWHERE...

Ok, how do I add pictures?

Re: RE: Ok, how do I add pictures? Actually the size was chosen based off a 1024x768 screen, as I feel that is the most common setup. I run 1600x1200 on my desktop, but my laptop is only 1024x768 capable. I hate to make people scroll to see the pic.

Great...stuck in Fennville w/a no-start CUCV any suggestions

RE: Great...stuck in Fennville w/a no-start CUCV any suggest Amy, is it parked nose up on the incline? I suspect you have an air leak. Hitch a ride (however possible) to get a can of Pure Silicone Spray, or even in this crisis some Ether. You will need a second person for this.... take off...

Where to get ubolt for mounting the M-66 legs to the cab?

RE: Where to get ubolt for mounting the M-66 legs to the cab BTW chuck, my convoy lights came with 1/2" ubolts too (knew they werent 3/8") I am under the impression, that the posts that clamp to the back of the cab for the convoy lights are the SAME exact ones as the gun ring legs.

Where to get ubolt for mounting the M-66 legs to the cab?

RE: Where to get ubolt for mounting the M-66 legs to the cab For some reason I thought they were bigger than 3/8". BTW, the convoy lights didnt come with straps, just u-bolts, washers & nuts.

Where to get ubolt for mounting the M-66 legs to the cab?

RE: Where to get ubolt for mounting the M-66 legs to the cab Hmmm.... I seem to remember someone asking this real recently... (although it may have been for the convoy lights - which use the same posts) Try Sam Winer, or Adlemans is the result I recall.

    Bellhousing issue

Not speaking from experience here.... but: If you get a couple transfer punch inserts, you can thread them into the holes on the tranny you need to drill for. Put the bell housing on using the bolt holes you can, and tap with a hammer at the other locations. This will mark your holes nicely...

    Diesel in m37?

ok... I will try again (damn exploder) IMHO, most of the GM diesel trouble is 'consumer based'. Most people had no clue about owning a diesel when GM started making them (a good deal still have no clue). This caused alot of issues because people were treating them like their gas...

    M1008 transmission possesed

RE: Re: RE: M1008 transmission possesed :-) Its also possible that the vac pump is shot, or the variable 'switch' on the IP. On the original topic.... I wonder if the governer on the side of hte tranny is sticking? I would suggest a fluid/filter change ... (The TH400 does have a governer...
