    The actual switch is maybe wearing out or it is too high of a pressure rating. Replace the switch. I replaced mine and added an LED in the cab to light up when switch activates. Now I can't find my own posts but it was around 02272017 sometime. Never had another problem and it didn't cost much...

    Look on the drivers side back of the air cleaner. Is the big hose there that goes to the air compressor? Most got "lost someplace". Engine will run and has capability to run away sucking air from that inlet. You do not even want to read the horror stories of multi engines that ran away broke...
