Picked up my new tires today!

Good luck with that. Your best bet would be gensco in anniston. If they don't have them they have ALOT of 11x20 Goodyear G177's.

    problem with oshkosh equipment BEWARE

Their website says the only seals replaced, unless they are leaking at that time, are hub and axle seals. That's obviously because they are redoing the brakes and they have to replace them. Alternators go out and leaks start in old trucks. 21K for a truck, I think that's the highest cost I've...

    Stuck Budd Nut

If you use a torch to cut it off, make darn sure you remove the valve stem before you apply heat!

For 200-250 you should be able to get the whole exhaust system. $180+ is high.

    Wheel Well Rust

CUCV's are notorious for rusting. If you drive them in the winter they will rust out again. Make sure you cut all the bad metal out and undercoat it well.

A2 to A3 Extended Service Life Conversion

You are taking 3 trucks basically at the end of their service life. The biggest components reused were the bodies, frames, suspension, and axles. Out of 3 M35A2 trucks, how many have these bad components on them? The rest of the drivetrain was basically replaced/upgraded along with other...

A2 to A3 Extended Service Life Conversion

Remember too, out of the 3 A2's-how many had good enough sheetmetal to use?

    Classic gasser at Redstone

That's the same truck. It just traded hands I believe.

    Classic gasser at Redstone

Look in Feb 2008 MVM magazine. It is a map reproduction truck. It is extremely rare. David Doyle makes mention of one other known survivor. It closed for $1350. I was soooo tempted to bid on it but I will still be deployed long after my EUC would have cleared.aua

    Project Time Once Again

Here's a true story. We have a guy here at work that has one of the big jap crotch rockets. Almost everything on it is chrome. He got the brilliant idea to chrome his front brake rotors. Needless to say they were only on the bike for one very short ride. The rear brake is the only reason he...

    24 Volt Gauges

Do a search for pyrometer. I like the ISSPRO combo gauge, but I haven't bought one yet. It's called the Turbocator.
