It may be just an illusion but the truck looks awfully light on that drivers side front tire.

If you can get it for a couple hundred bucks, get it. Like mentioned above you can use it and piece a whole winch set up together or at least have a spare for parts.

A complete winch set up (pto, driveshaft, winch, linkages and all) go for $800-$1200.

Id mount it in the bed at the base of a folding crane. Use it to lift heavy stuff into the bed.
