Are they asking you for any money to open your account back up? If so and you have done nothing outside of the terms of agreement, that would look like extorsion to me. I would call your congressman and let him know that it appears they are trying to put pressure on you to get your dad to pay.

What do you want to power with a genset that size? You'll need a pretty good load on it to keep it running right. Many of the smaller gensets on the 3/4 ton M101 trailers put out enough power to run a small house during a power outage.

I would have called off the sale and had my own mechanic look it over. Im not implying that the buyer was trying to pull one over on you but some guys do have some dirty tricks.

From the sounds of it the OP has access to both the hood and cab. If he wants to swap both, sounds like an awfull lot of work to me. If its just the crossover tube thats in the way I would just modify the 800 hood to clear it.

Congrats, now prepare to look for a trailer, genset, and anything else painted with carc that feel you just have to have now. Nice insulation job. What kind of maps? Are they military?

What happens if you don't open that drain? I was trying to get my M818 started today after sitting all winter. I tried to use the primer pump and it was VERY hard to pump. I had fuel leaking out of one of the lines while doing this. Edit: this is where it leaks when using the priming pump.
