    Stranded in Grand Junction, Colorado.

That’s a thousand miles away, best hot shot haul rate you will get is $2.00/mile, suggest fix whatever failed right there with that money rather than blow it on hauling.

    600V 60KW 3Ph 50/60hz Set

Use a calculator like this: https://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/kW_to_Amp_Calculator.html to go from kW to amps at the two voltages. If your machine has starting surge current, your 60kW generator will not start it. If it has a big AC motor, the 90kW they were previously using is about right.

Maybe take something from your ladies cabinet and replace it every 28 days

    600V 60KW 3Ph 50/60hz Set

I'd look into a 480 to 600 step up transformer in order to use a standard generator set.

    M-52 Recovery

Your VIN 9524-130XX comes back as a 1968 Kaiser Jeep. I think some depot didn't have the proper data plates at rebuild time and used some older plates they had.

Stuck plug on old control box.

Well first of all you are supposed to remove the pins from the connector body before you solder them using a special tool that nobody has. Then you must properly prep the end of the wire such that there is absolutely no corrosion of any type on all the strands or the solder won't take. Then...

Stuck plug on old control box.

That connector is no simple task to solder on. If your mechanic is not skilled as an electronics tech, don’t bother buying just the connector.

    Truck markings/identification

That's your VIN, for sure your truck is a 1972, but your VIN number or the NK02HT is not in the database unfortunately.

    Undercoating

They can but be aware they will spray that stuff over whatever substrate you present. If your undercarriage has rust, they will spray over it and it will continue to rust and blister up the undercoating. Then you get to scrape it all off and start over.

    Truck markings/identification

Sure in the usual location near the forward spring hanger on the front axle driver side.

    M149A2 Recovery

I think they were made by American Development Corporation, I have a SF97 with mfg date 1983 and vin ADC13D3. EDIT: on second thought the insulated aluminum ones like you have were made by Aero Welding in the early 90's.

    Truck markings/identification

99th Regional Readiness Command of the US Army Reserve. Appears to be deactivated. Appears to have been deployed Iraq war. MT typically means maintenance. The NK02HT is the Army registration number, equivalent to a license plate, unfortunately that number does not show up in the database...

    M38a1 engine.

If the military did it there will be a rectangular data plate attached to the crankcase giving the bore rods and mains size.

Won a MKT90 today on GSA!!! What %#$& do I do with it?

Y’all remember how in high demand these were not to many years ago, even the incomplete ones brought 2 grand.

Observations from first time on the road

I think your guess with the tires being out of round is correct.

Air brake connections- Teflon paste or Teflon tape?

A master plumber once told me that the purpose of teflon tape or the teflon pipe sealant is to lubricate the threads so you can get the connection tighter.

Air brake connections- Teflon paste or Teflon tape?

I say paste. Never seen teflon tape used on trucks.

If its time to paint call RAPCOPARTS.COM

Flatness comes from finely ground silica sand added to the paint during manufacture. Gillespie does not contain enough of this. When settled out, this flattening agent is nearly half of a gallon can when properly formulated. This is enamel or polyurethane paint. Not sure how the Behr latex...
