Theres a missle silo just 5-10 miles from me. About 2-3 years ago someone bought it and started "manufacturing" things there. They said it was springs and other secret stuff for NASA. They hired some of the local off duty cops for security. Turns out it was just a big drug lab. rofl Needless to...
It can be taken apart. Loosen the hose clamp at the end where the cable enters the "big" rubber part and you should be able to push the cable thru the that end and out the front.
You have to push it thru NOT pull it out the back.
Edit: are you asking about the big round end? or the end...
Its just one of the rules for participating in this site. Its an easy mistake that nearly everyone makes when they are new to SteelSoldiers. I wouldnt worry about it too much, trailers and gensets are pretty common. If you get outbid I'm sure more will come along.
Good luck and remember once...
:ditto: relatively speaking, A2= simple and cheap, A3= complicated and exspensive.
Unless money is not the main concern. If one has the money and can pay to have it fixed when it breaks then the A3 might be easier to drive.
If I wasnt going to put a dump cylinder under mine I'd go this way just so I could keep the 5th wheel but I dont really intend to pull any large trailers. However I do intend to haul dirt and gravel (tons of landscape projects around my house) so I need the dump bed.
They wont issue one like they should but you can BUY one from them. As in pay the fee and they will get you the paper work thats supposed to come with the equipment.
Well its an A3 so I cant say its a good looking truck, :-P but it is a very nice looking truck. I hope your search for the serial # pans out. that would be pretty cool if it turns out to be the first one.
If they re-wrote them after you got the truck there, then leave it till you move. DO NOT move that truck. They cant re-write rules after that fact. Isnt that ex-post facto or some lawyer jibberish?
Ive posted on this forum before that I'm a rule follower. Like it or not I wil lobide by what is...
Soft top. not necesarily. I have seen some hartops with "manholes" cut it them. Some done hastiley and some look pretty good with a weather sealed hatch.
Dont worry ranchhopper, I've had my own "live and learn" experience at my own exspense. I'm willing to either just take a chance, at my own exspense, or do my own preview or contact someone to preview for me. Im all for helping each other out, but not by breaking the rules when doing it.
