    I’ve never seen a kit installed in 30yrs of being in the military...I’ve personally installed 1 or 2, can’t hurt. it was designed to prevent what’s happening your hood....but ideally install before an issue.

    TSU just determines if the motor is 120 and above or 120 and below...if below? It starts the glow plug cycle, if above, it won’t. sounds like a bad box....

    Just clean the holes up, install plastic plugs as the mfg does on unused holes and paint the truck. i do about 2 M1123’s a month...once painted you can’t see the plugs even a few feet from the truck unless you look.
