Define armored doors...m1045’s have supplemental x-doors, basically a steel plate riveted to an X-door.
if so, yes...they will fit, there is no difference in any of the trucks.
The 14v from the regulator is required for 4L80e trucks to prevent an imbalance in the battery’s because the TCM is wired to the rear battery, the TCM and trans are 12 volts. Remove the 14v tap from the regulator and try it, if it fixes the issue, your issue is the regulator is bad.

Your ATF in the trans is how old now? Unless all fluids were changed after the auction, I would be replacing all fluids and filters.

Assuming your going with the detuned 6.5, you will notice no real improvement in anything.
if it were me, I would go with a full A2 6.5 drivetrain and install TCM to make the 4 speed trans operable.
more work and money for sure, but a detuned 6.5 will do nothing for you.
Some thermal flashers work by putting an LED bulb in the TS lever, some dont, I’ve experimented with this.

Let me speak from experience...if I find a fuel filter that bad, I replace the fuel tank. Not far behind is the injection pump failing.
these trucks unfortunately sit for up to 10yrs before they come to auction, and the fuel has done some serious irreversible damage.
Yes, but make sure you still don’t have remnants of the old style e-Brake and differential support bracket installed.
The A2 tank is made for new style rear brake setup.
I always wire BU lights on a separate switch, this way they serve as rear facing utility lights I can use and keep on and nit have to be required to put the truck in reverse to get rear lights.
