I am thinking for GP to title a vehicle they need to first issue the SF97 then send that to DMV with the required documentation to request a "title only" be issued in the buyers name.
I could definetly see one of the companies that rent vehicles for movie set use paying big bucks for them. Military movies are very popular and in the scheme of a movie budget a few hundred grand for some vehicles is a drop in the bucket. Especially if you can reuse them in multiple movies.
There is an air release valve on each axle. The entire system is mechanical once air leaves the valve body cab floor. If the system sends low air pressure to hold each wheel valve open, it will vent out the axle release valves. If the system sends fill pressure and it is significantly reduced...
If the vehicle in question is over 25 years old then the notarized bill of sale GP offers may be the best and easiest way to go. Many states don't require a title for vehicles over a certain age.
I had found one guy who would do it but he can only do it on the weekend and couldnt get to bragg to pick it up. I spoke with the local cat dealer they would be willing to take a look at it if I have it dropped off there they said they have experience with the LMTV trucks and were really nice...

Thanks I appreciate it. I cant find too many transporters with a winch to get it on the trailer. Here in the CT area almost everyone has a winch. I have spoken with numerous guys down there they all say not many guys down there have winches.
I have a M1088 tractor at Bragg. Sold as a non runner. It looks all there and should roll with air to the brakes. I was looking for someone to recover and store it. GP load out is Mon Tues and Wed 8am to 12:30 only, and it's by appointment. Someone who knows the LMTV and could take a look at it...
