They pop up in the bay here and there. Usually the abs module is bad and it blows one of the fuses under the dash by the steering column. If you replace the fuse and it blows again the module over the back axle is shorted.
I dont see why not they print plastic. When I do wheel o rings I use the thick ones and i use rtv in the ring channel and around the bolt area. Done like that they shouldnt leak.

Somewhere there is a blockage in your air system you need to troubleshoot. Start taking lines off in the air supply path find the problem. If you need a part there are people in Ohio.
Was it the small safety relief on the side of the air dryer? Had one of those go bad on me once. Good to have it there though. If your ppv were to fail and you didnt have that safety air pressure would just build until something burst.
